The Virtual Entrepreneurship Center(VEC) awards start-up and expansion grants to various entrepreneurs and small businesses requiring financial assistance to become sustainable or expand its current operations.  The VEC Micro-Grant program awards up to 500 dollars to deserving entrepreneurs to assist them in starting or expanding their business.

The intention of capital start-up grants is to financially supplement the activities of local entrepreneurs that promote business activities, new economic incentives, inventions, economic growth, job opportunities, business opportunities and improved quality of life for Alabama residents.

The VEC grant/sponsorship program covers two (2) areas:


Business Capital Start-Up

To assist entrepreneurs and small businesses in the capital cost to form a business, company or organization.


Expansion Grant

To expand its current operations or to purchase additional equipment or supplies.

The VEC Grant/Sponsorship Grant will be awarded twice a year depending on need and availability of funds. In order to be eligible for consideration applicants must complete the VEC Entrepreneur Basic Clash of Clans Certification Course and receive certificate prior to application.
